Although the Lincoln High tennis team was defeated in the second round of the Sac-Joaquin Section Division III Playoffs, two players advanced in singles and the team gained some experience it hadn’t had in a decade. The Fighting Zebras ended the Pioneer Valley League regular season 6-4. The blue-and-gold earned second place in league via a tiebreaker over Colfax and Bear River. more

Lincoln High School earned a third-place tie in the Pioneer Valley League for softball but failed to make the Sac-Joaquin Section Playoffs while the track and field team advanced 13 athletes to the Division II-III section trials. more

Twelve Bridges Middle School eighth grade was up to the challenge of defending its Foothill Intermediate School Athletic League softball championship by claiming the postseason tournament with two-straight victories last week. more
